I Love Children (ILC)

I Love Children (ILC) is a voluntary welfare organization set up in September 2005 with the purpose of keeping Singapore young - by advocating a higher priority to having children, and promoting a society where children are loved and mainstreamed.

Striving to nurture, encourage and facilitate causes which are pro-children and pro-family, ILC also links up with like minded individuals and groups, and where possible, to act together to initiate, influence and be the catalyst in changing current attitudes of Singaporeans to be more positive towards family and children.

A strong believer in this cause, Pat's Schoolhouse has supported ILC since their inception in 2005. Besides participating in opening items at some of ILC public promotions, we have also staged a Charity Concert entitled "Antshillvania" at Raffles Hotel to help raise funds to support their needs.

Over the last 5 years, we have also supported their mission by organizing Carnivals, Jumble Sales, Car Wash and other centre events involving our Principals, teachers, children and parents.

Our Founder, has also been actively involved in helping ILC by volunteering her time since 2005 and her expertise in providing advice and support to parents needing guidance in raising their children.

Mainly I Love Kids (M.I.L.K) Compassion Fund

Registered in June 2004, MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) Fund is a charity organisation that was set up to reach out and help disadvantaged children.

Compassion Fund was established in April 2006, under the Mainly I Love Kids (MILK) fund.
Over the years, they have helped hundreds of families cope financially during their short term crisis so that their children's education would not be affected.

Pat's Schoolhouse started her involvement in the Compassion Fund by participating in their 'Share-A-Meal' efforts to help those in crisis.

We are also involved in developing a week-long programme to reach out to preschoolers and to teach them to have compassion towards their fellow friends and those in need. This will be launch in September / October 2011.

Make-A-Wish Foundation® Singapore

Make-A-Wish® Singapore is an affiliate of a global organization which began in 1980, with 36 affiliates worldwide today. With a mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy, the foundation has granted over 550 magical wishes since their launch. Working towards these wishes are over 200 volunteers, 10 board members and 6 staff.  The combined efforts, coupled with the support of sponsors and supporters brings the foundation closer to that goal every day.

The aim of Make-A-Wish is to go beyond the mere delivery of each child’s wish. The organization strives to create an unforgettable and meaningful experience in making these wishes come true.  In their fight to overcome their illnesses, such experiences are a source of joy, encouragement, hope and even strength, to these children.

Odyssey, The Global Preschool contributes regularly to this foundation, in a variety of ways. From fund raising events like Colours of Odyssey, Art from the Heart, children performances, to cash donations, Odyssey is committed to supporting community partnerships, encouraging the spirit of giving, and also help educate children about philanthropy.
